Business Development Executive – Interior Design

We are hiring for a dynamic interior design firm committed to delivering innovative, high‑quality interiors for residential and commercial clients.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, results‑oriented Business Development Executive from Interior Design Industry who will identify new business opportunities, build and nurture client relationships, and work cross‑functionally to drive revenue growth in the interior design sector. If you are passionate about design, have strong sales acumen, and enjoy building lasting partnerships, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Sales Strategy
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities: residential and commercial
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to meet both short‑term and long‑term growth targets.
  • Prepare persuasive proposals, presentations, and sales pitches tailored to prospective clients.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with clients, understanding their design needs, preferences, and budgets.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring long‑term satisfaction, retention, and repeat/customary business.
  • Market Research & Competitive Intelligence
  • Stay updated on trends, materials, design styles, regulatory standards, and market shifts in the interior design industry.
  • Monitor competitor activity and pricing strategies.
  • Collaboration & Project Coordination
  • Collaborate with design, operations, and project teams to ensure client expectations are translated into actionable project scope and deliverables.
  • Ensure smooth handover of new clients to project teams; while supervising that commitments made during sales are fulfilled in execution.
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking
  • Maintain a sales pipeline, track progress against targets, and report regularly on key metrics.
  • Use CRM tools to manage leads, follow‑ups, and client interactions.
  • Identify obstacles to win‑rate, devise corrective actions, and optimize sales performance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience
  • 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a closely related role—with 1 year experience in the interior design / architecture / home décor industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in Hindi is mandatory.
  • Basic familiarity with CRM tools, MS Office Suite; ability to generate reports

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
