In this key role you will engage with Sales Engineers, Partners, and Customers across the India and Sub Continent Region to advise on the development of applications that will become implemented as solutions in our customer locations and install base.You will have software development capabilities that can support Zebra's portfolio, and provide comprehensive support for Zebra solutions across multiple industries to support our internal Sales Engineers, Partners, and Customers across the India and Sub Continent Region.
Responsibilities:
- Work as a member of a technical pre sales team supporting the positioning of Zebra products to large Enterprise customers
- Opportunity to lead technical presentations including Sales, System Integrators, Product Engineers, Program Managers and Business Partners regarding the implementation of enterprise mobile computing, advanced data capture and label printing solutions
- Set-up and lead solution demonstrations for customers and partners
- Using your software development skills, work closely with other Sales Engineers and Engineering Departments to help decide the best application architecture to a given customer issue. In some cases, developing a proof of concept of the proposal will be required
- Participate in Zebra core technologies virtual teams related to application development
- Attend technical, product and sales training as required
- Opportunity to participate in Zebra and external industry events such as DroidCon or Zebra AppForum.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- 3+ years of sales engineer experience
- Uses domain/solutions knowledge to competitive advantage
Some Key Skills We're Looking For
- Experience with enterprise mobility solutions, advanced data capture technologies and label printing solutions.
Comfortable creating & presenting technical content, to a variety of audiences, including non-technical
- Ability to explain complex technical solutions clearly to various audiences
- Understanding of OOP (Object Orientated Programming) principles:
- Android Development
- Java, C#, C++, Python
- Embedded Programming
- Familiarity with integrating 3rd party services (Rest APIs) & libraries (SDKs) into applications
- Familiarity with data interchange formats (JSON, XML)
- Advanced English is required
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Willingness & ability to learn on the go, comfortable asking questions in person.
