The Role in Simple Terms

We are looking for a Sales Engineer who can bridge the gap between "interested leads" and "signed contracts." Your job is to visit potential clients, check if their site is suitable for solar, and explain the technical benefits in a way that makes them want to buy. You are the expert who builds trust and helps the sales team close the deal.

What You Will Do (The Sales Part)

  • Meet & Pitch: Join the sales team in meetings to act as the "technical expert." You’ll explain how solar works and why our solution is the best fit for the client.
  • Site Inspections: Visit potential project sites to see if solar is a good fit. You’ll look at the roof/ground space, check for shadows, and see where the panels can go.
  • Translate "Tech" to "Value": Take technical data and turn it into a simple explanation that shows the customer how much money and energy they will save.
  • Help Close Deals: Address any technical worries or "what if" questions the customer has to help them feel confident in saying "Yes."
  • Create Proposals: Work with the office team to put together simple, professional project proposals and price quotes for the customer.
  • Build Relationships: Stay in touch with clients during the early stages to make sure they are happy with the plan before the construction team takes over.

What We Are Looking For

  • A "People Person": You should be comfortable talking to anyone—from homeowners to factory managers.
  • Sales Mindset: You aren't just there to measure; you are there to help the company grow. You should always be looking for ways to make the project work.
  • Clear Communicator: You can explain complex things (like how electricity works) in simple language that a regular person can understand.
  • Background: A degree in Engineering (Electrical or Civil) is great, but your ability to talk to customers and understand the solar business is what matters most.
  • On the Move: You enjoy being out in the field. This isn't a desk job—you will be traveling to different sites and meeting new people every day.
  • Experience: 1–2 years in a role where you had to deal with customers or technical site visits.
