Job Description: Sales Engineer (Process field instruments)
We have an urgent opening for a Sales Engineer specializing in Process Instrumentation. The candidate should have 3 to 8 years of experience in a sales engineering role related to Process Instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Client Visits & Sales Generation: Proactively visit clients to generate and follow up on sales inquiries.
· Sales Coordination: Work closely with the Inside Sales team to ensure accurate and competitive offers are sent to clients.
· Order Finalization: Negotiate and finalize sales orders, ensuring all terms and conditions are agreed upon.
· Payment Collection: Ensure timely payment collection from clients as per agreed terms.
· Cross Department Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including Inside Sales, Logistics, Service, and Accounts, to ensure seamless sales operations.
· Process Management: Oversee the entire sales process, from inquiry generation to order fulfilment and payment collection, ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster long-term business growth.
Education: Diploma/B.E./B. Tech in Instrumentation & Control Engineering
Experience: 3 to 4 years of experience in sales instrumentation.
Skills Required:
· Strong sales and negotiation skills.
· Excellent communication skills (written & spoken English).
· Proficiency in handling client interactions and relationship management.
· Must be willing to travel 100% of the time for client visits.
· Experience in process instrumentation industry is mandatory.
