Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and grow sales for

  aluminium extrusion products

  in the assigned territory.
• Identify potential customers, conduct regular market visits, and build strong business relationships.
• Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable extrusion solutions.
• Handle pre-sales and post-sales activities including enquiry management, quotations, negotiation, order follow-up, and payment collection.
• Study and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and applications related to aluminium extrusions.
• Conduct competitor analysis, market mapping, and maintain updated customer databases.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and prepare regular MIS reports in Excel.
• Coordinate with production, planning, logistics, and quality departments to ensure timely order execution.
• Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer meets.
• Willingness for

  extensive travel

  within the assigned region.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Qualifications:

• Diploma / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).

• Experience:

• 15 years of experience in sales of

  aluminium extrusions

  or

  engineering/industrial products

  .

• Technical Skills:

• Good understanding of extrusion applications, engineering products, and basic technical drawings.

• Soft Skills:

• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Good analytical ability and strong command of MS Excel (reports, analysis, MIS).

• Other Requirements:

• Self-driven, target-oriented, and open to extensive field travel.
• Strong knowledge of the geography of the assigned region/territory.
