Job Description

1. Sales Team Management

  • Manage and maintain sales operations for local and regional teams.
  • Supervise and motivate sales teams to achieve goals and targets.
  • Keep the team updated on current industry trends and technologies.

2. Sales Strategy and Budgeting

  • Outline and manage sales budgets.
  • Set quarterly and annual sales goals aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Establish monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
  • Devise sales strategies and identify opportunities to meet targets.
  • Provide detailed sales forecasting.

3. Sales Performance and Reporting

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard sales and marketing staff.
  • Complete timely sales activity reports and presentations.
  • Provide periodic sales metrics and Management Information System (MIS) reports to management.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Review customer activity, anticipate needs, and improve satisfaction.
  • Meet regularly with customers and prospects to understand their business needs.
  • Position product solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Act as a bridge between market insights and the product development team for New Feature Development (NFD).

5. Market and Sales Channel Development

  • Create new sales points through multiple channels.
  • Negotiate and execute commercial terms and pricing.
  • Identify risks and drive internal decisions for customers.
  • Participate in bids and proposal activities.

6. Marketing and Promotional Activities

  • Guide marketing teams to design print and online promotional materials.
  • Continuously update product knowledge and business strategy understanding.
  • Provide market intelligence to management for timely decisions.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Competitor SWOT analysis and strategic sales planning.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to ensure sales and marketing performance is presentable.
  • Participate in trade fairs and conferences.
  • Risk assessment and decision-making capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field. MBA is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 1.5 years in sales, with 2 years in complex business software or IT solutions sales.
  • Age Limit: Below 30 years.
