Sales Consultant (Building Materials)

Role Overview: Outsized, a high-growth disruptor in the talent economy, is seeking a hands-on Sales Consultant for their client, a global consulting firm supporting a leading building materials company. As a Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in driving local sales strategy and execution in key priority markets across India. Your tasks will include supporting the local sales team in designing and executing growth strategies, identifying growth levers, developing sales tracking tools, and working closely with local teams in client priority markets. Key Responsibilities: - Support the clients local sales team in designing and executing growth strategies. - Identify and activate growth levers in assigned priority markets. - Develop sales tracking tools and performance dashboards using Excel. - Build business cases and performance updates for senior leadership via PowerPoint. - Travel to client priority markets and work closely with local teams to understand ground realities. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in B2C sales and distribution, ideally in building materials or FMCG industries. - Experience of working on channel management, influencer management, sales force productivity tools/ ways of working. - Exposure to consumer goods sales and channel strategy will also be considered. - Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. - Hands-on experience in on-ground sales execution and distributor/channel engagement. - Top-tier MBA or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
