Job Description

As a Pre-Sales & Client Coordination Executive in the Media & Publishing industry, your role is crucial in serving as the initial point of contact for potential clients. Your primary responsibility is to assist potential clients in understanding various media packages, addressing their basic objections, delivering presentations/demos, and smoothly transitioning the conversation to the Client Servicing/CRM team for further onboarding and execution. **Key Responsibilities:** - Engage with inbound client inquiries and leads to comprehend their requirements and suggest suitable media packages (print, digital, or combo). - Present solutions utilizing pre-built decks, elucidate pricing structures, placement benefits, and anticipated deliverables. - Address initial objections or clarifications, establish trust, and provide additional material as necessary to facilitate decision-making. - Coordinate with internal sales or CRM teams to pass on warm leads, ensuring comprehensive documentation of all context and client history. - Maintain up-to-date records of all inquiries, calls, meetings, and statuses using CRM tools or Excel trackers. - Assist in the development and enhancement of sales decks, proposal templates, and media kits for diverse campaigns or special issues. - Collaborate with internal design, editorial, or event teams to gather and present pertinent material during pre-sales discussions. - Follow up with potential clients at strategic intervals to nurture interest, gather feedback, or progress the conversation. **Qualifications:** - A graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. - Exposure to publishing/media/advertising is advantageous. In this role, your key skills and competencies should include: - Strong presentation & communication skills in English & Hindi. - Confidence in explaining packages and tailoring responses based on client preferences. - Basic objection-handling techniques and client empathy. - Process-oriented mindset with a focus on solid documentation and effective handover procedures. - Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Google Sheets, and email etiquette. - Knowledge of the media/publishing industry is considered a plus.
