Sales and Marketing (Steel)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales & Marketing Professional from the Steel & Iron sector to join our team. The ideal candidate should have relevant industry experience and a strong existing network of buyers, dealers, distributors, and fabricators. This role requires someone who can generate business leads, manage client relationships, and drive revenue growth.

Only candidates with relevant Steel & Iron sector experience and an active professional network will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales and business development in the Steel & Iron sector.
• Leverage an existing network of buyers, dealers, distributors, builders, and fabricators to generate consistent business.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective planning and execution.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
• Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies for territory expansion.
• Conduct market research to analyze competitor pricing, demand patterns, and industry trends.
• Negotiate contracts and finalize deals while ensuring profitability.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations, timely deliveries, and quality compliance.
• Submit regular sales reports and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.

Requirements

• Mandatory:
• Relevant experience in Steel & Iron sector sales and marketing.
• Existing and active professional network of buyers, dealers, distributors, and fabricators.
• Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in the Steel & Iron industry.
• Strong understanding of products, grades, pricing, and distribution channels.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and market development.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate in any discipline (MBA / PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in Steel & Iron sales and marketing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
