SALES AND BILLING STAFF

Job Summary:

The Sales and Billing Staff will be responsible for assisting customers with product selection, generating sales, managing billing operations, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first approach to ensure smooth store operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in selecting artworks, art supplies, and related products.
• Explain product features, pricing, and promotions to customers.
• Generate bills and invoices accurately using billing software or manual systems.
• Handle cash, card, and digital payment transactions securely.
• Maintain daily sales records and prepare sales reports.
• Assist in stock checking, updating inventory, and maintaining product displays.
• Coordinate with the store manager for pricing updates and product availability.
• Address customer queries, complaints, and returns politely and professionally.
• Ensure billing area and sales counter are clean, organized, and well-managed.
• Support promotional activities, exhibitions, and art-related events.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 0–2 years of experience in sales, billing, or cashier roles (retail experience preferred).
• Basic knowledge of accounting and billing procedures.
• Proficiency in billing software, MS Office, or POS systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure during peak hours.
• Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in Commerce, Business, or relevant field (preferred).

Work Environment:

• Art store retail setting.
• Interaction with customers, artists, and vendors.
• May require weekend or holiday shifts based on store operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,356.12 - ₹20,000.00 per month
