Safety Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a vigilant and proactive Safety Supervisor on a contractual basis to oversee and enforce safety protocols at our construction site in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of construction safety standards and hands-on experience in ensuring compliance at site level. Key Responsibilities: Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations. Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and safety inductions for workers. Identify potential hazards and implement control measures to prevent accidents. Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe practices. Ensure that all workers use appropriate PPE and follow safety guidelines. Maintain safety-related documentation, checklists, and incident records. Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and labor teams to maintain a safe work environment. Eligibility Criteria: Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Industrial Safety or relevant certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or any government-recognized safety course). Location Preference: Candidates based in Hyderabad. Skills Required: Thorough understanding of safety regulations and statutory compliance. Good observation and communication skills. Ability to train and educate site personnel on safety practices. Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
