Position: Safety Steward

Location: Andhra Pradesh

Qualification: B.Sc/BE (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical)/DE, DE (Safety)

Job Responsibility:

• Administer appropriate safe work practices/procedures within the project.
• Monitoring the behavior of the people and providing training/awareness programs to change the attitude and behavior positively towards HSE culture.
• Conduct HSE inspections and internal audits to reduce accident costs and aim for zero accidents.
• Participation in job hazard analysis activity and communicate to working people for HSE
• awareness.
• RISK Assessment of every activity according to work implemented with significant risk and significant aspects.
• Educating the workers and ensuring that tools, machinery, and equipment are in proper working order and well arranged.
• Conduct demonstration training & mock drill training
• Inspection of machinery, tools, tackles, and appliances along with the plant & machinery department.
• Prepare emergency preparedness & response plan
• Finding out about unsafe acts & unsafe conditions and bringing them to the notice of the superior and site engineer.
• Checklist for power tools such as drilling machines and cutting machines maintained properly.
• First Aid and Emergency Proceedings.
• Scaffold Inspection.
• Coordination with the client and subcontractors.
• Attend all weekly and monthly HSE meetings with the client.
• Compiled and maintained personal records including training, PPE, fire
• Maintained daily, weekly, and Monthly safety reports
• Review of PTW system. Method statement, ensuring safe work procedures and conducting weekly and monthly safety committee meetings with contractors.
• Investigation of near misses, accidents, and incidents.

~ Experience in transmission lines, having worked on a 400 KV project.
