Job Title: Safety Steward

Experience: 1–2 Years

Qualification: Any Degree with P.G. Diploma in Fire Safety and Hazards Management

Location: Any Project Site (Willing to relocate as per site requirement)

Job Summary:

The Safety Steward is responsible for assisting the Safety Officer in implementing and maintaining safety standards at construction or industrial project sites. The role ensures compliance with statutory safety regulations, promotes safe work practices, and helps in maintaining a risk-free work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Safety Officer in daily monitoring of site safety activities.
• Ensure that all workers follow safety rules and use proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and basic safety awareness sessions.
• Identify and report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and near-miss incidents.
• Support in conducting safety inspections and audits at the site.
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and permit-to-work records.
• Provide assistance during emergency situations and basic first aid when required.
• Ensure fire-fighting equipment and safety signage are properly maintained.
• Promote a safety culture among all employees and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with site management to implement corrective and preventive safety measures.

Skills & Requirements:

• Any Degree with Diploma in Fire Safety and Hazards Management (mandatory) or Degree with hands on experience in Safety Steward.
• 1–2 years of experience in construction / industrial site safety.
• Good communication, observation, and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of fire safety, hazard identification, and risk assessment.
• Familiar with safety documentation and statutory requirements.
• Willing to work at any project site across locations.
