Job Description

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To promote Health, Safety and Environment Awareness among all site personnel.
To assist the safety manager in co-ordination of safety activities.
Induction training to all new employees, workers and visitors.
Conducting Toolbox Talk to work force for different work activities and other safety trainings to employees at all levels.
Visit to all site activities to conduct safety inspections.
Conduct periodic risk assessment and analysis of hazardous activities within the area.
Inspection of scaffolding safe procedures and regular monitoring.
Issuing of Permit to Work for activities having high risk and require strict controls.
Regular monitoring, supervision of all work activities and inspection to evaluate safety performance.
Issuing Corrective Action Request (CAR) if safety procedures are not followed properly by workers.
Inspection of hand tools, power tools, heavy machineries and other equipments.
Monitoring correct usage of safety barriers including timely removal. Making daily reports regarding unsafe procedures in job site, making accident investigation report if occurred and taking preventive steps to avoid reoccurrence.
Maintaining all documents and checklists.
Fire prevention precautions, training employees and worker on basic fire safety awareness and inspection of firefighting equipments.
Preparing Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and co-ordination of Emergency Response Team (ERT).
Housekeeping and other environmental safety.
