Minimum Education & Experience

Essential : Degree or Diploma  in Engineering in Electrical /Mechanical/Civil from Recognized institute

Must have 5 Years of Experience in EHS Field

Desirable : Exposure to T&D Business segment

Must have Completed ADIS from Recognized Institute

Key Responsibilities

1. Implementation and compliance of EHS Statutory requirements pertaining to the establishment of BEL.
2. Must be familiar with ISO 45001 and other relevant standards.
3. Able to  coordinate and monitor the  sites effectively
4. Implementation of EHS manual, policies and safe operating procedures and practices.
5. Able to train the project team periodically.
6. Investigation, Reporting and analysis of accidents/incidents/near misses/dangerous occurrences by accident investigation technique
7. Preparation and maintaining documentation at Project level and sending to Cluster Manager for evaluation.
8. Organizing and conducting safety committee meeting to evaluate the compliance and resolve the problems encountered at project sites.
9. Advise on conducting competitions/contest for motivation of work force.
10. Advise on Developing and organizing EHS training/Tool Box Talk etc.  In addition, ensure implementation of work permit systems.
11. Ability to assist, lead and coordinate project team in minimizing accidents through day to day monitoring the unsafe observation and rectification.
12. Ensuring KPIs are adequately fulfilled.
13. Consultation and coordination with the client in fulfilling EHS requirements.
14. Ensuring implementation Safety devices & PPE .
15. Conduction Tool Box Meetings at site level
16. Preparing HIRA for each activities
17. Devising methods for EHS improvements at Project sites
