Safety Practices monitoring at Project Sites.

Job Description:-

- Impart OHS training and Induction of all contractor workmen and supervisors.

- Monitor and involvement of Toolbox Talks at site.

- Monitor and Ensure work permit system at site before starting the work for MEP Sites and SIA Monitoring at PIRE distribution sites.

- Daily site rounds at work locations and monitor vigorously unsafe acts and unsafe conditions at site.

- Ensure timely compliance of unsafe conditions & unsafe acts observed at site.

- Propagation of OHS Policy at sites.

- Propagate a process of hazard identification and ensure that it becomes a part of daily work of all concerned so that hazards are identified proactively and regularly.

- Monitor for the corrective actions and closures of the identified hazards/near misses.

- Joint inspection of power tools and Electrical installations available at site.

- Joint inspection of Portable ladders with Store in-charge or dedicated supervisor.

- Joint inspection of Scaffoldings with Authorized scaffolding inspector or dedicated supervisor.

- Joint inspection of First Aid Box with Store in-charge and maintain record.

- Monthly inspection of Fire extinguishers and maintain record.

- Quarterly joint inspection of Fire extinguishers with Authorized inspection agency representative. Joint inspection of Lifting tools & tackles with representative of concern agency and maintain record.

- Participate actively in Company-wide OHS initiatives, monthly Safety committee meeting and all training arranged at site.

Requisite Qualification

Essential

ITI with NCTVT Certificate/ Any Graduate/ Diploma Engineer &

Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) from State Board of Technical Education (CLI/ RLI/ DISH Approved) or Any recognized Safety Diploma

Requisite Experience

Essential

3 to 4 Years in Construction or similar industry

Special Skills Required

- Computer Skills for safety reports and PPT preparations like,

MS Excel, MS – Power point, MS – Word.

- Communication Skills – English, Hindi, and local language
