Role Overview

We are leader in the footwear manufacturing industry and is seeking an experienced and highly skilled person of Security and Safety to oversee all aspects of physical security, loss prevention, crisis management, and safety across our manufacturing units, warehouse, HO and Corporate office. The ideal candidate will have experience in risk management and internal audits, with a strong track record in developing and implementing security and safety strategies. This role requires a candidate who can drive initiatives to protect company assets, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and minimize risks across multiple sites

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement comprehensive security and loss prevention strategies tailored to the unique needs of our manufacturing facilities, stores, warehouses and logistics operations.
  • Manage and oversee security operations, including physical security measures, access control, and surveillance systems across multiple sites.
  • Help to control in-transit shrinkage through SOP compliance and best practices, ensuring secure transportation of merchandise.
  • Facilitate investigations into fraud, policy violations, and non-compliance issues; prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Implement and monitor loss prevention strategies for last-mile delivery stations, logistics centers, and fulfilment centers, with a focus on reducing losses during transit.
  • Conduct risk assessments for existing and upcoming sites/projects, identifying potential security threats and developing mitigation plans.
  • Act as the point of contact during critical events, crises, and workplace incidents, liaising with government officials and law enforcement agencies to ensure appropriate actions are taken.
  • Develop and execute business continuity plans (BCP) and crisis management protocols to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Oversee the management of contractual guarding agencies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and high standards of service.
  • Conduct physical security and compliance audits at multiple sites, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Perform loss prevention inspections and audits, utilizing data analysis and surveillance tools to identify and address potential security risks.
  • Lead and conduct training sessions on security protocols, loss prevention strategies, disaster management, and safety practices for employees across all levels.
  • Promote a culture of safety and loss prevention within the workforce, encouraging ethical behavior and awareness through regular sessions and workshops.
  • Prepare teams for emergency situations, ensuring they are equipped to respond quickly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with operations, HR, merchandising, facility management, and other departments to integrate security and safety considerations into business processes.
  • Analyze loss data and investigation results to develop and implement plans for reducing losses and improving overall performance.
  • Utilize advanced security technologies such as CCTV, access control systems, and data mining tools to enhance security and loss prevention efforts.
  • Ensure the implementation of process controls to mitigate risks associated with physical and paper shrinkage across multiple locations.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify potential hazards within the manufacturing environment and implement effective risk mitigation strategies to reduce workplace accidents and injuries.
  • Stay updated on changes in safety regulations and industry best practices and incorporate them into the companys safety programs.
  • Prepare comprehensive incident reports and maintain accurate records of all safety-related incidents and collaborate with management to develop and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of incidents.
