SAC Planning Consultant

As a Senior Consultant SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing planning models, dashboards, and analytical solutions to meet organizational budgeting and forecasting needs. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective planning solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain SAC Planning models, including data actions, allocations, advanced formulas, headcount planning structures, and multi-version planning. - Translate functional budgeting and forecasting requirements into planning solutions in SAC Planning. - Create high-quality dashboards, reports, and visualizations using SAC Dashboarding and Analytics Designer. - Streamline the end-to-end budgeting cycle with cross-functional teams. - Ensure data accuracy and integration from various sources like SAP BW, S/4HANA, and SAP Datasphere. - Support planning cycles, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance. - Document design specifications, technical components, and solution architecture. Mandatory Skills: - Expert-level experience in SAC Analytics Designer for building complex, interactive planning applications. - Strong hands-on experience in SAC Planning including planning models, data actions, version management, and advanced formula logic. - Strong understanding of functional budgeting concepts such as operational budgeting, capital budgeting, and forecasting cycles. Good-to-Have Skills: - Experience in public sector budgeting processes like fund management, grants, appropriations, and multi-year budgeting. - Working knowledge of SAP Datasphere for data modeling and integration. - Experience with SAP BW / S/4HANA data structures related to planning. - Knowledge of predictive planning features and integration with advanced analytics. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - 5+ years of total experience with a minimum of 4+ years in SAC Planning. - Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to interact with business and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions.,
