Job Description Job Responsibilities: Installing, configuring and maintain servers and networks Overseeing system performance and troubleshooting issues Creating a backup and safeguarding the data if there are any hindrances Performing system upgrades following new releases Performing account setup Sustaining network integrity, server deployment, and security Monitoring and maintaining network servers such as file servers Plan and execute Active Directory Domain level upgrades and DNS architecture Plan and design Group Policy Objects as requested to ensure compliance of company policies for servers and user end-point devices. Troubleshoot and resolve Active Directory, GPO, Active Directory Federated Services, and password/identity management systems. Assist in management and support of internal and external DNS systems. Assist in management and support of internal DHCP architecture and scoping. Maintain standards for installation of infrastructure software / hardware installations. Oversee the architecture and design of the global backup and recovery of Active Directory. Review domain level rights and privileges and perform changes to the same as appropriate. Collaborate in assessing current and expected Windows infrastructure needs, configuration, maintenance, optimization and documentation of Windows infrastructure. Must possess proven experience working with a large enterprise distributed computing environment. These experiences should include: Directory Services Infrastructure architect/design/support Strong understanding of architect and configuring Microsoft Windows OS technology including AD Forests, Domains, Trusts, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and Organizational Units. Job Requirements System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols Experience with scripting and automation tools A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, securing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure, including firewalls (Sophos, Fortinet and Cisco), network security, cloud/hybrid networking. Key Responsibilities: Network Security & Firewall Management: Configure, manage, and monitor Sophos XG, Fortinet FortiGate and Cisco firewalls. Implement IPS/IDS, VPNs, Web Filtering, Application Control, and Threat Protection and End Point Security . Perform firewall rule audits, security hardening, and compliance enforcement . Network Infrastructure & Performance Optimization: Design and optimize LAN, WAN, VLANs, SD-WAN, and Wi-Fi networks . Configure and manage Layer 2/3 networking (Routing, Switching, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) . Implement high-availability (HA), failover, and redundancy strategies . Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues . Cloud & Hybrid Networking: Configure and manage Azure networking (VNets, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, NSGs, Load Balancers) . Secure hybrid network integrations between on-premises and cloud environments . Implement Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) strategies.
