R/R Shiny Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated R Programming Expert to join our dynamic team. As an R Programming Expert, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data analysis and statistical modelling solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in R programming, a deep understanding of statistical methodologies, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Also need experience in dockers & containers.

Responsibilities:

1.  Statistical Analysis and Modelling:

• Conduct statistical analyses on large datasets to extract meaningful patterns and insights.
• Develop and implement predictive models using advanced statistical techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute statistical experiments.

2. Data Visualization:

•  Create visually compelling and interpretable data visualizations using R and other relevant tools.
•  Communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise visualizations.

 3. Programming and Scripting:

•  Develop, maintain, and optimize R scripts and programs for data analysis and modelling purposes.
•  Troubleshoot and debug existing codebase to ensure accurate and efficient results.

 4. Collaboration and Communication:

•  Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other team members to understand project requirements and goals.
•  Communicate complex technical concepts and analyses to non-technical stakeholders.

 5. Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough testing of statistical models and analyses to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Implement best practices for code review and version control.

Requirements:

 1. Education:

   - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

 2. Experience:

  - Proven experience as an R Programming with a minimum of 2-3 years in data analysis and statistical modelling.

  - Demonstrated expertise in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and visualization using R.

 3. Technical Skills:

  - Proficient in R programming language and associated packages (dplyr, ggplot2, tidyr, etc.).

  - Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies.

  - Experience with other programming languages (Python, SQL) is a plus. 

4. Communication Skills:

  - Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.

 5. Problem-solving Skills:

  - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
