Job Description

As a Routing & Switching - Network Engineering Advisor at NTT DATA, your role involves planning, designing, and implementing networked systems. You will be responsible for configurations, troubleshooting network problems, and coordinating with vendors for the installation of routers, switches, firewalls, concentrators, and load balancers. Additionally, you will perform technical analysis of software, hardware, and network systems, system integration for LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, and various transmission systems. Your responsibilities will also include network maintenance, system upgrades, service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations. You will create and update the technology components of standard operating procedures and liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution. Some key areas of expertise required for this role include: - Nexus configuration and design (VDC, VPC, OTV, LISP, FabricPatch, DCNM) - SD-WAN (Preferred) - Aruba Switching & Wireless - Cisco Enterprise Wireless communication design and configuration - Meraki wireless - MPLS Traffic engineering design and troubleshooting - Application and WAN Optimization appliance design and configuration Required Qualifications: - Cisco CCNP/CCIE certificate OR equivalent experience - Strong communication skills - Solid documentation experience with Microsoft Visio, Word, and Excel - Ambitious and goal-oriented with the initiative to work until the job is complete - Prior experience working closely with customers and collaborating with IT staff - Strong technical account management and troubleshooting skills - Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience About NTT DATA: NTT DATA is a $30 billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
