As a Sr. Network Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and protection of network systems. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at safeguarding the system from potential threats and vulnerabilities. To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Possess a degree in network engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, or related IT fields. - Have proven work experience as a network security engineer or information security engineer. - Demonstrate expertise in creating and managing security systems. - Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of the latest technologies, security principles, and protocols. - Proficiency in handling security systems, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, antivirus software, log management, and authentication systems. - Familiarity with web-related terminologies and software, including web applications, web protocols, service-oriented architectures, and web services. - Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and effectively communicate security incidents to senior management. - Skills in implementing and interpreting results from malicious code, mobile code, and antivirus software. - Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, CEH, CISSP, GIAC Security Certifications, or other OEM certifications. - Willingness to obtain a security clearance. - Knowledge of computer forensic tools, data loss prevention methods, and disaster recovery strategies.
