Route Analyst

As a Route Analyst for the 24/7 Operation weather monitoring and emergency response center, your role involves ensuring safe and optimized weather routing for the entire fleet. You will be responsible for liaising with operation teams to create realistic schedules based on weather conditions, working with external vendors to gather weather data, setting safe thresholds for different vessel sizes, collaborating on innovations, and monitoring vessel performance during emergency responses. Your key responsibilities will include: - Safely and efficiently routing the fleet based on weather conditions - Collaborating with operation teams for realistic scheduling - Working with external vendors to obtain weather data - Setting safe thresholds for different vessel sizes - Collaborating on innovations for weather routing - Monitoring vessel performance during emergency responses To qualify for this role, you should have: - Class 2/3 certificate OR a meteorology degree with maritime skills - Sailing experience as Chief/2nd officer OR experience with a routing company - Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint This job requires a combination of maritime knowledge, meteorology skills, and technological proficiency to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the fleet in various weather conditions.,
