Route Analyst

As a Route Analyst in the 24/7 Operation weather monitoring and emergency response center, your main responsibility will be to ensure safe and optimized weather routing for the entire fleet. You will work closely with the operation teams to schedule realistic routes based on weather conditions. Additionally, you will be in charge of liaising with external vendors providing weather data and setting safe thresholds for different vessel sizes. Your role will also involve collaborating on innovations, participating in emergency response procedures, and monitoring vessel performance. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Class 2/3 certificate or possess a meteorology degree with maritime skills. Alternatively, sailing experience as a Chief or 2nd officer, or experience with a routing company, will also be considered. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a must for this role.
