Job Title: US HR Compliance Specialist (India) Experience: 2–4 years Location: Remote Shift: 7.00-4.00 PM Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled US HR Compliance Specialist to support our US operations from India. This role is critical in ensuring adherence to US Labor laws, federal and state regulations, and internal company policies. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with HR Managers on a range of HR compliance matters. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and ensure compliance with US federal and state employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEOC, FLSA, OSHA, ADEA, etc.). Handle all administrative tasks related to HR functions, including the maintenance of personnel and medical records. Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Coordinate with US HR and Legal teams on employee relations investigations and compliance matters. Assist in developing and delivering training on compliance topics such as anti-harassment, ethics, and diversity & inclusion. Track key compliance metrics and prepare regular reports for stakeholders. Stay current with changes in US labor laws, court rulings, and agency guidelines affecting employment practices. Support the administration and monitoring of FMLA, ADA, Emergency Paid Sick Leave, Workers’ Compensation, and other leave of absence programs. Assist with annual reporting requirements, including EEO-1, CA Pay Data, IL Equal Pay Data, MN Equal Pay Data, AAPs, OSHA, and others. Review background reports for compliance and process FCRA notices as required. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Legal or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in HR compliance, preferably supporting US-based HR operations. Strong understanding of US labor laws. Familiarity with EEO, ADA, FMLA, FCRA, FLSA, Title VII, and other relevant federal and state laws. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
