ROR Developer

As an experienced professional with a total of 8 years in the field, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring members of Agile development teams within the sphere of influence of Squad (1-8 people) and Product. Your primary goal will be to drive these teams towards success in delivering on their sprint commitments. In this role, you will play a crucial part in championing internal approved standards and processes related to development frameworks, tools, design patterns, source code, testing, security standards, as well as discovery, design, and documentation expectations. Collaboration across teams and functions for larger initiatives or identified dependency needs will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will take the lead in the development of highly available, enterprise web applications by leveraging modern frameworks and design patterns. Additionally, you will be required to develop strategic program plans, roadmaps, and estimations which include forecasting capital investments and projects. It will be your responsibility to review product requirements and effectively translate them into technical specifications. Another important aspect of this role is converting corporate goals into employee goals and overseeing managerial employee performance, including the implementation of Performance Improvement Plans. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiencies will also be part of your duties. While the mandatory skills for this role include ROR/Ruby on Rails/Ruby, having knowledge of Vue is considered a good-to-have skill. Your role may also require you to undertake other duties as necessary to support the overall objectives of the team and organization.,
