Room Attendant

Job Title: Room Attendant (Housekeeping)

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and balconies as per hotel standards and SOPs.
   
2. Make beds, change linen, and replace towels as per occupancy and policy.
   
3. Replenish guest supplies such as toiletries, amenities, minibar items, and tea/coffee kits.
   
4. Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and clean furniture, fixtures, mirrors, and windows.
   
5. Check room condition and report maintenance issues (electrical, plumbing, AC, etc.) immediately.
   
6. Follow proper procedures for handling guest belongings and lost & found items.
   
7. Ensure rooms are ready on time for arrivals, stayovers, and departures.
   
8. Maintain cleanliness of corridors, pantry areas, and assigned public spaces.
   
9. Use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment safely as per training.
   
10. Follow hygiene, safety, and infection control guidelines at all times.
    
11. Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality.
    
12. Coordinate with supervisors, front office, and maintenance for smooth operations.
    
13. Adhere to grooming standards, uniform policy, and professional behavior.
    
14. Complete assigned room targets within the shift efficiently.
    
15. Report unusual incidents, suspicious activity, or guest complaints to the supervisor.
    
16. Attend training sessions and briefings as scheduled.
    
17. Comply with hotel policies, rules, and disciplinary standards.
