Project Manager, Locomotives will report to Head of Execution-Rolling Stock. The job responsibilities of the Project Manager include (but not limited to) Develop and manage project plans, including scope, schedule, cost and budget. Define project objectives and deliverables. Monitor project progress and identify potential issues. Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirement. Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders including management reporting. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Manage stakeholder expectations and address their concern. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks including EHS. Develop and implement risk management plans. Possess a strong understanding of rolling stock engineering principles and practices. Collaborate with engineers and other technical specialist. Lead and motivate project teams. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Adhere to all company policies & procedures. Ensures hiring, training, and reporting of project team members. Perform additional duties as needed. Expected travel to Project sites "“ 30%. Desired Skills: Graduate in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics Engineering Should have at least 12-15 years' experience in rolling stock domain. Experience in Project Management, Technical Competence and Leading People. Certification in Project Management is added benefit. Sound knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Components of Rolling stock Should be proficient in English and Hindi Strong communication and organizational skills Proficiency in using Microsoft office suite and administrative applications. We are looking for Sr. Project Manager (Rolling Stock) You"™ll make a difference by You will be responsible to lead project management for Indian Railways & Metro Rolling Stock orders incl. EMU, MEMU, Trainsets, Locomotives, Metros etc. falling under Rolling Stock Business Unit. The responsibilities will include Managing cross functional project team comprising engineering, procurement, testing and commissioning, quality, production etc. Leading core project deliverables incl .design approval process, timely delivery of prototype rolling stock /components, testing & commissioning of rolling stock, homologation of prototype vehicle, commencement of series deliveries, payment collection from customer, managing the warranty period and timely contract closure. Leading all discussions and interfaces within the organization and towards customer stakeholders Managing the key KPIs of execution viz. Quality, Cost and Time Consistently managing the customer relationship for smooth execution of the orders Leading the technical and commercial topics towards customer organization Leading the Project Governance activities (gate reviews) to ensure qualitative and timely execution Leading all project reviews within organization and towards customers Managing contractual warranty obligations for timely project closure Ensuring Site Compliance & EHS implementation Coordinate on-site & off-site activities to ensure proper work progress Inputs to bid and sales team to ensure preparation of a competitive rolling stock bid Hands on experience of managing customers like Indian Railways, Metro Organizations etc. Desired Skills: You should preferably be a certified project management professional You should have relevant experience of minimum 15 years in Project Management function preferably in Railway / Metro Rolling stock domain You have sound commercial understanding along with profit and loss experience coupled with risk management skills. Minimum 3 years"™ experience in Railway Domain, more specifically on Signalling, Electrification, Rolling Stock and it should be as a recent experience. Highly Proficient in Primavera P6 (PPM & EPPM), average proficient in Microsoft Project, Project online and Power Bi is added advantage. Strong communication skills in written and verbal (English). Ability to develop, maintain and update detailed schedules, ensure adherence to quality standards, create reports and provide analysis using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
