Job Opening: STEM / Robotics Trainer (Block Coding + Basic Arduino)

Location: Inside Amethyst International School , Karanai Main Rd, Ottiambakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600130
Role Type: Part-Time | Experience: 1–2 Years (Preferred)

We are looking for an energetic and passionate STEM Trainer who loves working with kids and enjoys teaching technology in a fun, simple, and hands-on way.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct robotics and STEM classes for Grade 1 to 12 students in schools.
• Teach block-based coding using platforms like Scratch, PictoBlox, Blockly, etc.
• Introduce students to basic Arduino concepts (LEDs, sensors, small projects).
• Guide students through simple hands-on STEM activities that encourage creativity and problem-solving.
• Maintain and manage teaching materials, laptops, kits, and classroom resources.
• Ensure a positive, interactive, and safe learning environment.
• Track student progress and assist children who need extra support.
• Coordinate with school staff for smooth class schedules and reporting.

Requirements

• 1–2 years experience in STEM / Robotics / Coding training (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of block-based coding (Scratch / PictoBlox).
• Basic understanding of Arduino and simple electronics.
• Good communication skills and the ability to simplify concepts for young students.
• Patience, creativity, and passion for working with children.
• Able to work part-time during school hours.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and comfortable managing young learners.

Preferred Skills

• Previous teaching or tutoring experience with kids.
• Experience in school workshops, camps, or STEM events.
• Familiarity with additional educational tools ( Tinkercad, basic sensors).

Salary (Part-Time)

• ₹9,000 – ₹12,000 per month
