Risk Management Service Engineer 1

As a Risk Management Service Engineer 1, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining SOX controls to support Application Managers for internal and 3rd party applications. Your responsibilities will include supporting internal and external audits, identifying potential SOX compliance risks, and assisting in maintaining SOX controls for products. You will work closely with engineering teams and Application Managers during SOX walkthroughs, manage evidence requirements initiated by internal audit, and perform quality checks on evidence submitted. Additionally, you will support remediation of SOX deficiencies, test and evaluate the effectiveness of SOX controls, document control testing procedures and findings, and report control deficiencies. You will also be responsible for preparing reports and documentation for SOX compliance activities, communicating SOX compliance status and findings to management and stakeholders, and assisting in onboarding, testing, and maintaining controls for new systems within the SOX scope. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with 5-7 years of experience in SOX compliance, internal controls, or auditing. You should have a strong understanding of SOX regulations, internal controls, and accounting principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential for success in this position.
