As a Risk & Controls Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in preventing potential risks to our customers. You will work in partnership with the first line of defence and businesses, applying effective risk management practices to anticipate and assess potential impacts across the bank. Collaborating closely with various stakeholders will enhance your visibility within the organization and provide opportunities for personal development. This position is at the associate vice president level. **Key Responsibilities:** - Delivering risk management initiatives to support the operational risk framework and conduct risk obligations - Assisting the business in managing existing risks by implementing mechanisms for identifying, reporting, managing, and mitigating risks within the defined risk appetite - Developing and analyzing relevant management information to support effective risk management by stakeholders - Managing resources for creating guidance notes and training material to enhance the first line of defence function and businesses - Supporting management in organizing stakeholder meetings and key forums, assessing regulatory impacts, and preparing necessary paperwork - Establishing and nurturing trusted partnerships across the organization to gather intelligence on emerging risks and controls **Qualifications Required:** - Knowledge of how a large financial services organization operates - Experience in working in a first or second line of defence risk role - Track record of achievement and delivery - Familiarity with risk assessment and scenario analysis methodologies - Understanding of operational risk management - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels,
