Riser Analyst - IQ/PR/02

• Lower emissions associated with traditional energy systems and accelerated building new ones. • Optimize operations and eliminate flaring. • Electrify offshore assets using subsea solutions. • Reduce the footprint of offshore facilities. 3. ABOUT ROLE: The candidate would be required to take up the following activities: • Design and FEED studies • SURF detailed engineering packages • Independent design verification analysis • Expertise in hydrodynamics, vortex induced vibrations, structure in any type of riser/umbilical systems • Interface with subsea equipment • Expertise and analysis for installation of pipelines, risers/umbilicals and subsea equipment • Research and development projects and JIPs 4. KEY RESPONSIBILTIES / WHAT WE EXPECT: Work in accordance with Company HSE, Quality Standards, Regulations and deliveries in expected quality. Be responsible for the technical execution of her/his professional area. Take responsibility for engineering tasks and perform associated calculations: • Numerical modelling of subsea structures based on hydrodynamic software (OrcaFlex, DeepLines, Diodore) • Subsea riser and umbilical design based on oil & gas standards: API, ABS, DNV, BV, etc. • Write and check calculation notes, analysis reports. Project Management: (Not Mandatory) • Undertake assignments in other SLB-OneSubsea offices, clients offices, vessels or on-site 5. Educational Qualifications Post-graduate degree in Ocean Engineering / Naval Architecture; Graduate degree in Ocean Engineering / Naval Architecture / Mechanical / Civil / Petroleum Engineering Functional Skills / Key competencies • Good knowledge of international standards: API, ABS, DNV, BV, etc. • Preferably gained experience as design engineers/consultants or installation contractors • Knowledge of fluid mechanics and structural mechanics • Competent in use of relevant codes and software: Diodore, Deeplines, OrcaFlex, Shear7 • Other skills (not mandatory) Python scripting, Excel VBA, CAD modelling • Good communication skills.
