Healthcare Communications APIs

• Design and implement

  RingCentral API-based solutions

  including:

• Fax APIs

  for secure document transmission

• Voice APIs

  for inbound/outbound calling, IVR, and call routing

• Text (SMS/MMS) APIs

  for patient and provider communications
• Develop and maintain

  secure, scalable, and reliable communication workflows

  for healthcare use cases.
• Integrate RingCentral services with

  EHR/EMR systems

  , patient portals, and internal healthcare applications.
• Ensure

  HIPAA compliance

  , data privacy, and secure handling of PHI.
• Implement

  logging, monitoring, and reporting

  for voice, fax, and messaging activity.
• Collaborate with clinical, IT, and compliance teams to align solutions with healthcare workflows.
• Troubleshoot API issues, optimize performance, and provide ongoing technical support.
• Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with

  RingCentral APIs

  , specifically:
• Fax API
• Voice API
• SMS/Text API
• Strong experience in

  healthcare or telehealth systems

• Solid understanding of

  HIPAA

  , PHI, and healthcare communication security standards.
• Proficiency in backend development (Node.js, Java, Python, or similar).
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication (OAuth).
• Strong troubleshooting and integration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with

  RingCentral MVP or Contact Center

  solutions.
• Familiarity with

  HL7 / FHIR

• Experience with
