Job Description

Job Title: Twilio Contractor

AI Chat & Telehealth Solutions

  • Design and implement

    Twilio-based chat, SMS, voice, and messaging solutions

    for telehealth use cases.
  • Develop

    AI-powered chat functionality

    capable of:
    • Detecting and analyzing

      message tone, sentiment, and urgency

    • Triggering

      real-time alerts/escalations

      based on patient sentiment or keywords.
  • Integrate

    AI/ML or NLP models

    (e.g., sentiment analysis, intent recognition) with Twilio chat platforms.
  • Build and maintain

    robust reporting and analytics dashboards

    , including:
    • Chat engagement metrics
    • Response times
    • Sentiment trends
    • Alert and escalation metrics
  • Ensure solutions comply with

    healthcare regulations

    (HIPAA, data privacy, security standards).
  • Collaborate with clinical, product, and engineering teams to align technology with

    telehealth workflows

  • Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Provide documentation, technical guidance, and ongoing support during the contract period.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with

    Twilio APIs

    (Programmable Messaging, Conversations, Voice, Chat).
  • Proven experience implementing

    AI-driven chat or conversational systems

    , including

    sentiment/tone detection

    .
  • Expertise in

    reporting, analytics, and monitoring

    , including custom metrics and dashboards.
  • Experience working in

    telehealth or healthcare environments

    .
  • Solid understanding of

    HIPAA compliance

    , PHI handling, and secure communication.
  • Proficiency in backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar).
  • Experience integrating third-party AI/NLP services (e.g., sentiment analysis engines, LLMs).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with

    Twilio Flex

    or contact-center solutions.
  • Experience with

    real-time alerting systems

  • Familiarity with
