Role Overview

As a Rigging Artist Intern, you will assist in creating rigs for characters, props, and creatures that allow for expressive and natural animation. This role is perfect for students or fresh graduates who want to sharpen their technical and artistic skills while contributing to professional projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and testing character and creature rigs for animation.
• Work with the animation team to ensure rigs are intuitive, flexible, and production-ready.
• Implement skinning, deformation, and controllers to achieve realistic or stylized motion.
• Support troubleshooting of rig-related issues and update rigs based on feedback.
• Collaborate closely with modelling and animation teams for smooth pipeline integration.

Qualifications & Skills

• Basic knowledge of rigging principles, joint placement, and skinning.
• Familiarity with Maya, Blender, or equivalent rigging tools.
• Understanding of anatomy and character movement.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Passion for animation, games, and cinematic storytelling.
• Eagerness to learn and apply feedback from mentors.
