Job Description

  • Public health (Plumbing) and Fire protection BIM modeler who should be able to produce drawings and BIM model with minimum supervision. Works independently in the preparation of 3D CAD design model from which detailed models and/or construction drawings are completed. Assists in constructing detailed models and participates in client model reviews.
  • Directly performs work of designers and drafters, this work includes the preparation of 3D model in Revit application also preparation of layouts, study drawings, detailed construction drawings using Revit or 2D & 3D software like Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks & knowledge about Dynamo (preferable).
  • Proficient in System design, including concept sketches, BIM Modeling, and layouts.
  • Preparation and presentation of progress for discussion at meetings
  • Responsible for the accuracy of bulk material quantity take-offs and material requisitions for materials applicable to the discipline.
  • Reviews drawings and vendor equipment documentation, both within the discipline as well as from other fields, for compliance with project requirements and actively seeks resolution.
  • Proficient in Navisworks review capabilities, as required.
  • Should be able to work independently and handle an area with team of designers.
  • Interdisciplinary check of all Architecture/Civil / Structural drawings
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to lower designers.
  • Should be well versed with Autodesk Revit and BIM360.
