Job Description

As the Head of Revenue Retention, your role is crucial in leading the strategy and execution to drive long-term user engagement and revenue from existing users. You will be at the helm of product, analytics, and business, with a mission to build and scale retention frameworks that enhance user stickiness, increase lifetime value (LTV), and boost recurring revenue through deep data insights and user understanding. Key Responsibilities: - Retention Strategy & Execution: - Own and evolve the end-to-end retention strategy across user cohorts and lifecycle stages. - Build data-informed retention playbooks and frameworks to scale user engagement and reduce churn. - Collaborate with product and growth teams to integrate retention levers within the platform experience. - Data-Driven Insights: - Dive deep into user behavior, funnel drop-offs, churn patterns, and engagement metrics. - Develop dashboards, cohort analyses, and predictive models to identify at-risk users. - Collaborate with analytics and product teams to run experiments and drive interventions. - Revenue Maximization: - Identify high-LTV segments and optimize monetization through upsell, cross-sell, and subscription strategies. - Increase ARPU and recurring revenue by personalizing user journeys and targeting high-conversion moments. - Product & Experience Optimization: - Work closely with product, UX, and engineering teams to identify friction points and optimize user flows. - Recommend enhancements to drive habit formation, retention, and reactivation. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Partner with Marketing, Growth, and Content teams to build data-informed programs that drive loyalty. - Ensure alignment of retention efforts with overall business goals and product roadmap. - Team Leadership: - Lead and mentor a team of 23 analysts and specialists in retention and monetization. - Cultivate a data-first, experimentation-driven culture within the team. - Continuous Experimentation: - Define KPIs for retention, repeat revenue, and engagement. - Launch A/B tests, analyze results, and scale successful strategies across user cohorts. Ideal Candidate Profile: - Experience: 8-12 years in retention, product, analytics, or business roles in consumer tech, OTT, gaming, or fintech. - Data Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Tableau, or Looker. - Product Thinking: Strong grasp of user journeys and experience design with a product mindset. - Business Acumen: Deep understanding of subscription models, monetization levers, and LTV/ARPU metrics. - Leadership: Proven ability to manage and mentor small teams, influence stakeholders, and drive outcomes. - Mindset: Bias for action, ability to thrive in ambiguity, and startup DNA. - Ability to think like a product manager, execute like a business owner, and analyze like a data scientist. Nice to Have: - Experience in content-led or audio platforms. - Familiarity with behavioral psychology or segmentation models. - MBA or equivalent blend of business and technical exposure.,
