Retail Warehouse

Role & responsibilities

• Material movement planning and managing storage space for continuous/uninterrupted receipt of material from production
• Closely monitor and ensure timely supply of plaint bottles to DECO Production and receipt of printed stock from DECO and ensuring its safe storage
• Maintaining and updating the stock records regularly
• Have good understand of warehouse management system & storage types and storage locations
• Training team on various warehousing practices, like storage norms, storage practices, safety, loading procedures, dos & donts, internal audits etc.
• Resolve problems related in receiving materials, invoicing, dispatching, and verification of stocks.
• Should have exposure to retail operations, handling B2B and B2C customers will be an added advantage
• Should be proficient in SAP – Inventory Management and Warehouse Management
• In-depth knowledge and experience of the warehouse operations should have minimum 5 years of experience in handling warehouse operations.
• Accountable for stock audits, reconciliation & physical count accuracy
• Order receipt, consolidation and planning of vehicles as per daily load
• Able to plan and deploy manpower for packing activities and ensure order timelines are met to service the end customer
• Safe storage of material and timely carrying out rework/repack activities and ensure timely availability of material for dispatches.
• Shipment planning and indenting trucks and follow up with the transporters for timely placement of trucks
• Coordinating with marketing for executing dispatch of customer priorities and invoicing respectively
• Should be proficient in MS Excel
• Should have good coordination skills, coordinate with internal team/s for any stock related issues
• Should coordinate for master data updation in SAP, generation of billing, statutory documents, and periodic reconciliation. Handling SAP issues escalations
• Strong oral and written communications (Hindi, English and Telugu)

Strong knowledge in SAP MM & WM Modules

• Proficient with various tools used for warehouse management
• Good exposure to warehouse administration and cost controls
• Ensuring good upkeep of warehouse and house keeping
• Excellent analytical skills to oversee warehouse operations
• Good coordination and interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communications
• Conducting inventory audits as per audit frequency and initiating actions for closure of gaps and observations
