Retail Salesperson

You will be responsible for serving customers by assisting them in selecting products, driving sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge. Greeting and receiving customers warmly and responding to their inquiries will be part of your daily tasks. You will also guide customers to appropriate racks and counters, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain customer profile records for sales documentation. In addition to customer service, you will manage financial transactions and alert management of any potential security issues. Assisting with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, will also be part of your responsibilities. Keeping customers informed about special sales and future merchandise of interest, as well as coordinating with the factory for orders, will require effective communication skills. The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, be fluent in English, Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu (an added advantage), and hold a degree (UG/PG). Strong listening skills, excellent customer service abilities, meeting sales targets, product knowledge, people skills, high energy levels, dependability, basic math skills, and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
