Retail Salesperson

As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for actively approaching and engaging customers to drive immediate sales. You will utilize urgency and scarcity tactics to convert hesitation into action, as well as upsell and cross-sell to elevate the average transaction value. Accuracy in processing all transactions and managing returns/exchanges is key, while maintaining exceptional store presentation and readiness of promotional displays. Your role will also involve promptly resolving customer objections to secure the sale, and collaborating with team members to enhance and share high-impact sales strategies. To qualify for this position, a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for a marketing or business degree. You should have proven retail or sales experience with measurable success, proficiency in POS systems, strong communication skills, and a sales-driven mindset. Preferred extras for this role include experience in fast-moving retail segments, familiarity with upselling/cross-selling techniques, and sales training or certification in closing strategies.
