Role brief

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our Vashi (Inorbit Mall) store. You will be the face of Akoirah on the shop floor: educating customers about lab-grown diamonds, demonstrating product features, building rapport, and closing sales while meeting individual and store KPIs. This is a high-energy retail role that balances consultative selling with exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, engage and understand customer needs; provide tailored product recommendations and demonstrations.
• Present Akoirah’s product value (lab-grown diamonds, design benefits, sustainability and pricing transparency).
• Meet and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to store targets (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Manage counter operations: process transactions, maintain POS accuracy, handle returns/exchanges according to policy.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, keep displays clean and stock levels updated.
• Build long-term customer relationships and manage follow-ups (appointments, special orders, occasions).
• Support basic inventory checks and assist with paperwork for sales documentation and warranties.

Required skills & experience

• 1–8 years retail sales experience; jewellery/diamonds experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable with consultative selling.
• Basic knowledge of diamonds/gemstones is a plus; willingness to learn product specs and grading basics.
• Comfortable working in a mall environment and flexible with store shift timings (Inorbit Mall hours: typically 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM / mall timings may vary).
• Honest, reliable, customer-centric and able to maintain confidentiality with high-value transactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 12th pass; Diploma/Graduate in any discipline preferred.
• Any formal training/certification in sales, retail, or gemology is advantageous.
