Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary:

The Salesman is responsible for welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and helping them select suitable products. This role is focused on delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales targets, and ensuring a positive shopping experience that reflects the brand image.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products.
• Provide accurate information about fragrances, ingredients, pricing, and promotions.
• Understand customer preferences and suggest suitable options.
• Demonstrate and test perfumes for customers as required.
• Maintain product displays, refill shelves, and keep the store tidy.
• Process sales transactions through the POS system accurately.
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales targets.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and new arrivals.
• Assist in stock receiving, tagging, and store inventory counts.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in retail sales (perfume, fashion or cosmetics preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as per store schedule.
• Presentable and well-groomed appearance.

Preferred Qualities:

• Basic understanding of fragrance families and product categories.
• Sales-driven mindset with a friendly and engaging attitude.
• Fluency in English (Arabic/Hindi/Tamil is a plus depending on store location).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
