Retail Sales Assistant

The role of Sales and Transactions involves operating cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions efficiently. You will be responsible for promoting sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to enhance customer experience and drive revenue. In addition, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor by restocking shelves, arranging merchandise, and assisting with inventory management tasks such as receiving shipments and conducting stock counts. It is crucial to prevent theft and adhere to security policies to ensure a safe shopping environment for customers. As part of your responsibilities, you may also be required to handle customer complaints and issues effectively and provide support in various tasks as needed. Excellent customer service skills, including communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities, are essential for this role. Sales skills are also important to build rapport with customers and achieve sales targets. Proficiency in using POS systems and other store technologies is necessary, along with organizational skills to maintain a well-structured sales floor and manage inventory efficiently. Moreover, physical stamina is required as the role may involve standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks. This is a full-time position with day and morning shifts available. Performance and yearly bonuses are provided as part of the compensation package. Proficiency in English, Telugu, and Hindi is preferred, and day shift availability is desirable.
