Job Description

As a Demand Planning Executive, your role will involve supporting sales forecasting, inventory management, and product performance tracking by closely coordinating with buying, merchandising, and supply chain teams. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assisting in developing and executing short and long-term demand forecasts using historical sales data, promotional calendars, and market insights. - Monitoring and analyzing store-level and category-wise performance to inform assortment planning and stock allocation decisions. - Generating and maintaining demand performance reports to support sales and merchandising teams. - Collaborating with the supply chain team to align forecasts with business goals and inventory targets. - Identifying ageing or slow-moving products and supporting strategies for liquidation or promotional push-ups. - Tracking forecast accuracy, identifying gaps, and recommending corrective actions for continuous improvement. To excel in this role, you will need the following key skills and competencies: - Strong analytical and numerical skills. - Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools. - Good communication and cross-functional coordination abilities. - Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. You should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. This position is full-time and permanent, with the work location being in person.
