Role: Retail Inventory Analyst (Apparel Category)
Key Responsibilities
•Drive inventory planning and management for apparel categories in online/offline retail business.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory planning with sales, demand forecasts, and business goals.
• Manage revenue and inventory planning across business units, fulfillment types, article level, gender level, etc.
• Track assortment health, stock cover, sell-through, and replenishment to maximize conversions and minimize stock-outs/overstock.
• Suggest corrective actions to improve assortment efficiency and category performance.
• Create reporting formats that provide a 360 view of inventory health to stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 13 years of relevant experience in retail inventory planning/merchandise planning for apparel.
• Strong preference for candidates from Lifestyle International, Reliance Retail, Aditya Birla Fashion, Tata Trent, Myntra, Flipkart, Amazon, Shoppers Stop, Landmark Group (Max, Lifestyle), etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to take data-backed decisions.
• Self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to work in dynamic retail environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
