Job Summary: As the Restaurant Manager in our Tap Room, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless experience for guests while maintaining a positive, productive environment for staff. You’ll play a critical role in managing customer service, leading a team, and supporting the growth and success of the brewery’s Tap Room. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver excellent service; create and maintain a positive, inclusive work environment. Customer Service: Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained by addressing customer concerns, managing expectations, and promoting a welcoming atmosphere. Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing duties, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the Tap Room, and ensuring health & safety standards are met. Inventory & Ordering: Manage inventory levels for food, beverages, and bar supplies, and place orders as needed; work closely with the brewery team to keep track of beer inventory. Scheduling & Staffing: Create staff schedules, ensure proper coverage for shifts, and manage payroll in accordance with company policies. Financial Management: Help manage costs, budgets, and sales goals, ensuring profitability while providing great value for customers. Event Management: Coordinate and execute events (such as beer tastings, live music, etc.) and promotional activities that drive traffic to the Tap Room. Beer Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of our beers, brewing processes, and food pairings to educate staff and customers. Marketing & Community Engagement: Collaborate with the marketing team on promotions, social media posts, and customer outreach to enhance the Tap Room’s brand and customer loyalty. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management. Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably in a brewery or taproom setting. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities; ability to multitask in a high-energy environment. Beer Knowledge: Passion for craft beer and familiarity with brewing processes and beer styles; a Certified Cicerone or similar certification is a plus. Customer-Focused: Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact positively with a diverse group of customers. Financial Acumen: Ability to manage budgets, sales goals, and inventory.
