Job Description

As a Resident Medical Officer at the MOC, your primary responsibility will be to manage all patient care effectively. You should be a collaborative team player, working closely with a team of doctors. A key aspect of your role will involve regular visits to In-Patient Department (IPD) patients, conducting rounds, and monitoring their progress. Your duties and responsibilities will include: Patient Experience: - Attending to IPD patients before the consultant's arrival, noting any changes in symptoms, and assessing their general condition. - Communicating the patient's condition and reports to the consultant and making decisions regarding the suitability of chemotherapy after consultation. - Ensuring that patient waiting times meet the required standards. - Ensuring that patient feedback forms are completed by patients or their relatives. - Collecting Google reviews for the center as per the set target. - Performing blood tests, documenting clinical notes, and providing counseling to patients on chemotherapy procedures, duration, and addressing any queries they may have. - Maintaining patient records in accordance with the hospital's standards. Miscellaneous: - Assisting the Consultant and documenting clinical findings. - Participating in ward rounds with consulting staff as needed and being available to discuss patient treatment plans. - Providing medical services within the hospital based on a roster schedule. - Updating admitting consultants on any changes in the patients" medical condition and the actions taken. - Following consultants" instructions for each patient's specific treatment regime. - Adhering to all relevant procedures and policies and being familiar with the center and company clinical policies. - Reporting clinical incidents, drug errors, and near misses as part of the clinical risk program. - Participating in clinical audits and contributing to the implementation of clinical governance. Qualifications and Skills: - BHMS/BAMS Degree - At least two years of experience in oncology/ICU department This is a full-time job opportunity with benefits including health insurance.
