As a Manager Quality with JCI experience at Medanta Hospital, Lucknow (MHPL), you will be required to possess a Medical Graduate degree along with MHA/Diploma and a minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards such as Joint Commission, NABH 5th edition, and NABL. You will also be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to quality indicators, patient outcomes, and process improvement, and presenting regular reports to hospital leadership. Your role will involve providing training and education to hospital staff on quality improvement principles, conducting mock drills as per the annual calendar, and collecting patient feedback to enhance patient satisfaction. Leading or participating in multidisciplinary teams for quality improvement projects, facilitating root cause analysis, and collaborating with the risk management team to assess and mitigate potential risks to patients and the hospital will also be part of your responsibilities. Role: Infection Control Nurse Location: Dwarka, Delhi What You'll Do: Provides information, training, guidance and support for prevention and control of infection within the hospital. Responsible for the surveillance, analysis, and reporting of Hospital Acquired infections; educating employees about infection control and ensuring the implementation of various infection control policies in the hospital. Assisting environmental control through surveillance of water supply systems as needed Plan, organize, develop and implement educational programs for all hospital employees including administrative and ancillary services and skills to increase employee awareness of existence of HAIs, techniques for avoidance and preventive measures to provide a safe environment for hospital employees and patients. Supervises the maintenance of the established protocols for infection prevention e.g. isolation procedures, hand washing techniques used, the use of hand rub, change of IV set, change of central line dressing, availability of supplies, terminal cleaning of a unit and disinfection of equipment etc. in the hospital. Corrects and teaches staff whenever the need arises during rounds. E.g. proper use of gloves, improper handling of equipment, practice of aseptic precautions etc. Participates in the formal teaching programmes during the orientation of new staff. The staff should be informed about the steps to be taken in case of an accidental needle stick injury and the availability of hepatitis vaccination. Tracks down the source of an organism such as in the case of an outbreak of salmonella or MRSA infections. This includes environmental and personnel monitoring when appropriate. Carries out surveillance through regular contact with all hospital departments, particularly those providing patient care. Collects data-pertaining to c/s reports from microbiology department. During ward rounds, should collect data related to Admission from home, nursing home etc. Surgery Culture sample and reports Invasive procedures Keeps track of all patient with Intravascular catheters Urinary catheters Medical/surgical wounds Instrumentation of respiratory tract (ET tubes, tracheotomy tubes) Co-ordinates between different departments and the hospital s Compiling records of infected patients from ward notifications, case notes, laboratory reports and information collected in routine visits and discussions. Checking by inspection that infection control and aseptic procedures are being carried out in accordance with the hospital policy. Liaison between lab and ward staff, informing heads of department and giving advice on medical, nursing, domestic, catering and other grades of staff, Monitoring and surveillance of Bio-Medical Waste Management practices & protocols. Assistance in the vaccination of employees. Participation in teaching and practical demonstration of control of infection techniques to all categories of staff. Informing the administration Nursing Superintendent & Head of Infection control of practical problems and difficulties in carrying out routine procedures related to infection control. Attending relevant committee meetings, seminars, workshops or infection control update the knowledge. Conferring with the sterile supply manager about certain infections in the hospital. Conducts clinical audit to make sure that, the high standard of care in place in relation to the infection control and prevention. The microbiology department in turn maintains patient wise, department wise and data wise record of the culture and sensitivity reports. Following data is then analysed and interpreted together with the microbiologist. Thus able to establish: An antibiotic susceptibility pattern The rate of infection and the number of isolates grown Intravenous line related infections Wound sepsis rates Urinary tract infection rates and Respiratory tract infection rates Be in constant touch with the consultant microbiologist in order to get an idea and for a possible solution. The responsibilities include developing and managing the framework for Clinical process, service quality and customer experience for all service lines under Surgery care & Dental. This role will ensure end to end process streamlining and enhancements via QA and QC measures across functions to ensure best quality of care, customer experience, business growth and scalability. This role is critical in ensuring the highest standards of patient care through clinical audits, prescription validation, call monitoring, and effective coordination with various healthcare stakeholders (Ops, Customer support, Inside Sales, Product & Tech, Marketing, Sales & AM, Finance) to improve the entire customer experience and drive process improvements. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Ensuring all the Clinical calls are happening as per the SOP Conduct regular audits of clinical calls to ensure adherence to medical protocols and guidelines. Identify areas for improvement and provide structured feedback for quality enhancement. All concerns were addressed through timely follow-ups with the network, CST, Insurance MB, hospital SPOCs, medical teams, ICU doctors, and senior surgeons. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for handling missed inbound calls. Leverage prescription verification insights to improve the Surgery suggested funnel and better conversion Monitor and contribute to reducing the number of missed calls by the team. Lead, manage and monitor the entire CSAT framework to ensure CSAT, DSAT and NPS process flow Explore and introduce channels and mechanisms to capture customer feedback and surveys to increase the response rate and CSAT coverage Ensure identification of the process gaps and timely CAPA to enable continuous process improvement Identify the need for Quality improvement projects (QIP) as a part of RCA analysis to ensure continuous service quality improvement Lead, manage and monitor daily ticket flow, closure and zero pendency for surgery care and dental tickets on freshdesk Identify the complaint trends, common issue patterns and areas of improvement across all stages and overall processes. Skills & Requirements: Must have 7-8 years of experience, including expertise in Clinical and QA (hospital-related) processes, as well as Customer Experience in the healthcare sector. Experience in audits (Clinical/Non Clinical), prescription validation, and healthcare coordination is preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, and team management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of medical documentation and compliance standards Good analytical skills - working with large, complex datasets and deriving insights and identifying gaps and areas of improvement Ability to take constructive criticism and take corrective action - being open to feedback and closing the feedback loop Tool requirements - Advanced proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, basic knowledge of additional analytical, Quality and CRM tools.
