The opportunity at Nutanix is seeking a proactive problem solver with a customer-centric mindset and a strong background in virtualized IT environments to join the Services Delivery team. In this role, you will collaborate with a talented group of professionals to deliver innovative Day-Two IT Virtualization services, exceed customer expectations, and assist clients in achieving a fast return on their investment. You will be an integral part of the collaborative and dynamic Services Delivery team at Nutanix, based in Bangalore. The team's culture emphasizes exceeding customer expectations and fostering strong relationships. Your role will involve delivering Day-Two IT Virtualization services, planning and executing deployment of Nutanix core products, managing upgrades and lifecycle activities, collaborating on DevOps and cloud implementation efforts, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues, and documenting processes for system scalability and reliability. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Professional Services, you will work onsite at customer locations, engaging directly with clients to ensure effective service delivery. This role will also include travel opportunities for internal team events or training sessions overseas, enhancing your professional development and promoting cross-cultural collaboration within the organization. To excel in this role, you should bring 5-7 years of experience in an IT enterprise environment, with a focus on Virtualized IT environments, strong troubleshooting skills, experience with Nutanix core products, proficiency in capacity planning and disaster recovery, and relevant qualifications in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. Industry certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, VCAP, VCIX, CCNA, CCIA, and RHCE are preferred. Excellent communication skills, knowledge of DevOps practices, and automation tools will also be beneficial. This position operates in a hybrid capacity, combining remote work and in-person collaboration. You will be expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week, with additional guidance provided by your manager.
