Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Researcher & Strategist who combines deep research expertise with advanced AI tool proficiency to fuel our Partner Development and Business Development teams. This role is mission-critical in building and managing intelligence on thousands of enterprise and commercial accounts across Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, and Google ecosystems.
The ideal candidate will not only gather insights but also design AI-driven research workflows and agents that automate repetitive tasks, uncover new opportunities, and provide actionable strategies to guide our sales engagement.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
1. Account Research & Intelligence
o Build and maintain comprehensive account profiles across 1,800+ enterprise and commercial accounts.
o Map organizational structures, technology adoption, industry trends, and potential buying centers.
o Identify triggers and signals (funding cycles, leadership changes, M&A, compliance requirements).
2. AI-Driven Automation & Agents
o Develop custom AI agents for prospecting, account enrichment, and data validation.
o Automate workflows for extracting and analyzing data from CRMs, LinkedIn, vendor portals, and news feeds.
o Continuously experiment with and implement cutting-edge AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, LLMs, RPA tools).
3. Strategic Insights & Playbooks
o Deliver quarterly vendor and industry intelligence reports that guide outreach strategy.
o Provide battlecards and win themes tailored by vendor, industry, and account tier.
o Support PDRs with account segmentation, meeting kits, and talking points.
4. Cross-Team Enablement
o Partner with Sales Engineers and Product Managers to align research outputs with solution offerings.
o Support Marketing in campaigns with account-based intelligence and persona targeting.
o Provide leadership with data-backed insights for QBRs and strategic vendor reviews.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Account Research Coverage: 100% of 1,800 vendor accounts mapped with high-quality profiles.
AI Workflow Adoption: 3 5 custom AI agents deployed within the first 6 months.
Research-to-Meeting Impact: 30%+ of meetings attributed to account insights provided.
Report Cadence: 4 quarterly intelligence reports delivered on time.
Efficiency Gains: Demonstrated reduction of 30 40% manual research effort via AI automation.
Accuracy & Relevance: 90%+ of insights validated as actionable by PDRs and Sales Engineers.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor s degree required (Business, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field). Advanced degree a plus.
Experience: 5+ years in research, strategy, sales enablement, or market intelligence roles.
AI Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to use AI copilots, LLMs, RPA, and custom agents for research and automation.
Tools: Proficient with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Crunchbase, Pitchbook, vendor portals, and AI-enhanced analytics tools.
Skills: Exceptional research, analytical, and strategic storytelling skills. Strong written and verbal communication.
